Liette Masse
Interim CEO, Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce
Liette Masse is a collaborative, community-driven leader with more than 20 years of experience supporting local economies, building partnerships, and advancing community engagement across Ontario, the Lower Mainland, and Vancouver Island. She currently serves as Interim CEO of the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce, where she leads initiatives that support local businesses, strengthen regional collaboration, and foster an inclusive and thriving business environment. Previously, Liette was the Executive Director of the Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce, where she advanced strategic priorities that enhanced business visibility, tourism, and community connection in the Oceanside region. Her career includes leadership roles with Vancouver Island University (VIU), Parks Canada, and municipal governments, as well as involvement in landmark events such as the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games and Rogers Hometown Hockey Festival. Liette holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management from VIU, along with credentials in Festival and Community Events Management and Recreation and Leisure Services, and remains actively engaged as a community volunteer.
